Ráhkisvuohta

A collaboration between iDJa and ÅVLA (Ole Henrik Lifjell) that brings together joik and urban electronica.

“Ráhkisvuohta” means “love” in North Sámi and is a tribute to both love itself and the role of joik on the dance floor.

The track was performed live for the first time at Sápmi Pride in Trondheim. This was iDJa’s first release, published through the Sámi label DAT.
